My Profile

This moved into a new era in 2008 when I returned to Adelaide, South Australia for the first time since my childhood. It is not possible for me to convey in words the colours and feeling of such a fantastic coastline. It was almost as if there was an underwater strip light illuminating the ocean. How could I try to capture that sense of awe? My answer was to set about trying to seize those moments with a digital compact camera from Nikon.
Further visits to places such as Sydney, Hunter Valley, Byron Bay, Perth, and Shark Bay all served to fuel my passion for photography. The problem was equipment. I simply had to take it to a whole new level in late 2010 with the help of cutting edge technology from Nikon, Apple, and Adobe. Suitably equipped, I returned to Perth and took in Albany, Pemberton and Margaret River.
Living in North Wales enables me to be among the mountains, beaches, waterfalls, and rolling fields - all within half an hour. When you live somewhere it can be easy to miss the obvious; my Australian visits have re-opened my 'local eyes'. Photography is always work in progress; just when you think you've caught the perfect moment, another one seems possible.
As people have seen my work, they have asked for specific pieces across a whole range of subjects; PR, hotel welcome cards, news blogs, portraits and so on. This is all fresh and I’m keen to absorb the experiences.
I hope I have captured images that make you want to be there.
My primary body is now a Nikon D3s.
The project goes on..."
